The Campaign for Better Public Transit in Northwest Arkansas While we were unsuccessful in winning our sales tax effort this time around, we have a lot to be proud of. We made many new friends, educated the public about the need for public transit, and set the stage for future efforts. We also ran a positive and truthful campaign. We would like to thank those of you who participated in this effort for your hard work, your donations of time, money and support. Remember this: It is only a matter of time before the public decides to support and build a better transit system in Northwest Arkansas.
